Weird.
I didn't change anything at all, I didn't even log in on RS this year.

However, fixed:

Not weird at all - they made it so everyone's files were private unless you specifically changed it.

Anyway, thanks for keeping these alive!

Have fun, and please make your own backup, place it in the cloud. Not sure if I keep it here forever.

Updating the Alpha Video ROM to a GeForce3 Card: Use at your own risk, scroll to bottom for models I had success with.

Step #1 Download the rom file,
http://www.codeasm.com/xbox/files/AlphaRecsAndVGABios.rar
Extract and rename the .ROM file to ALPHA.ROM

Step #2 Create a DOS 6.22 Boot disk
http://www.ulink.net/crossroads/computers/sli/boot622.exe
Keep only files needed for booting, delete all others.
IO.SYS
MSDOS.SYS
COMMAND.COM

Step #3 Download NVFLASH 3.18
http://www.x86-secret.com/Download/bios/nvflash318.exe
http://www.x86-secret.com/Download/bios/DOS4GW.zip
Copy both NVFLASH318.exe and DOS4GW.EXE to the floppy.
Copy ALPHA.ROM to floppy.

Step #4 Boot
Boot from the floppy disk.

Step #5 Backup current ROM file
nvflash318 -b backup.rom

Step #6 Flash the Alpha.ROM
nvflash318 alpha.rom -u

WARNING: PCI subsystem ID doesn't match
CONFIRM: You are about to write a new ROM image to the display adapter.

Step #7
Type YES

Software EEPROM erase finished.
Writing Flash with file ALPHA.ROM
.......................
Flash Update Successful.
Comparing entire ROM.
ROM size = 47104 bytes.
Compared EEPROM with ALPHA.ROM successfully, no miscompares.
Getting ROM version and ~CRC32.
EEPROM size = 47104 bytes
ROM BIOS version is : 03.20.00.00.00
ROM BIOS ~CRC32 is : DA9727B0h
ROM BIOS SubsystemID, SubvendorID : 0000h, 0000h

Now boots with Engineering Release bios
