I'm not interested in selling, I'm more interested in what content could be on it.

If that's the case you could have made this thread in the rare content/nintendo sections.

Regardless, pictures of the disc are the main thing I want to see, and mainly as a form of validation. We've had many ruse cruises over the years so you know.

So like, he made it clear he doesnt plan to sell it. You can calm down on the offers, my dude.

@bowser22 could you provide any pictures of the disc for us?

Yeah. Sit down and take a look around in the game and document some things that can be different, maybe record some footage if possible, and post it in the Rare and Obscure forum! Image

Yeah, some pictures of the disk itself would go a long way. Anyway, as for determining the value of it, i think the best thing we can do is try to put a date on the prototype by trying to make connections between this prototype and various media shown during development, whether that be screenshots or videos.

If you ask me, i think it likely comes from after the E3 2002 trailer. It was still using a placeholder logo, and i doubt that they would use a red placeholder logo, when the game itself already has a full logo, a golden one even, available. I have a feeling they would at least use a golden version of the placeholder logo. Though i may be wrong. Don't ask me about deciding the value though. I have absolutely no expertise with these kinds of things and this is the first time I've seen one of these things unravel personally, much less been involved in any fashion. Also i activated the keyboard mode that autoselects the letter i click on help i keep forgetting how to deactivate this god damn thing

Personally I'd go through the game and look for major differences. Look at a speedrun, and compare larger maps. The more changes it has, the better the value will be. Even if you only went through a portion of the game, there's lots of indicators through gameplay to give an approximate age.

Hell, even just posting a video of the first 20-30 minutes could give us a rough idea of where the build is at development-wise.

What Miloxydia said, basically. Give us pictures of the disc and a video of the first half an hour or so, perhaps up to the Forsaken Fortress. Doesn't matter if you record it offscreen but if you can record the screen itself, even better.
