If you can believe it I bought it from a guy in a town that has the population of small village in Africa lol. You know the funny thing is though, most of my greatest finds have been in small towns. Just the other day I picked up two working Vectrex systems for under $100 total and one of them was in box. It was totally insane luck, I almost didnt even see them, it was a last minute buy. Just seems so wierd that when I lived in Vancouver where there are millions of people and I almost never found anything rare, then I moved to this little place out in nowheres land and have been finding amazing things ever since.

Is there a way you can confirm authenticity of this? I can easily make a real looking gold NWC just by switching labels and guts.

The only 100% sure fire way is by looking at the back label. The Zelda Test Cart is the only NES game that has a gold back label WITHOUT an embossed letter or number.

This one is the real deal for sure.

Maybe this was used for testing the save function? An NES that was somehow sending a little too much, or too little power to the cart could result in a corrupt save. I think, sort of out of my league.

I'd want it because it kinda looks like a FDS disk!
