There seems to be some net outages unrelated to the site.
Many sites are slow or unreachable.

One thing I have noticed with the site lately if I want to join a particular thread and contribute it can take several attempts to actually get to the genuine "last" message.
In other words I can sometimes find myself replying to material that has already been discussed and / or covered. It's a strange one and really frustrates me! Never had it elsewhere.
As an example the thread that Assembler just closed out relating to "Dumbledore is GAY". I could see Assembler was the last person to post, but when I initially went into the thread it was someone else. I refreshed 3 times prior to it giving the correct information, by which time a plethora of responses appeared from nowhere dating back to the last time I was online (I suspect). Clearly, had I tried to reply it would have already have been closed.
<A lot of suspicious people will be now saying "this is an elaborate get out clause for Parris for when he write utter rubbish - he can blame it on a technical hitch lol>

try clearing your cache. I will reboot the server tonight, but I don't think that is the problem.

How odd, here I was thinking my internet connection was just too bogged down by torrents thus slowing the interbuts but other people too?
I've had it with the bbc, neogaf, ntsc-uk and now here.

There's been some beid ddos attacks on the net recently. Probably related to router problems.
