The original release US version and the original release PAL version of MechAssault is the same aside from packaging. It's dual-region encoded.
Oh, and the original release Splinter Cell is easier to get hold of than both of the other two games and can do the exact same thing.
Oh, and Re-releases of the games have the exploit removed.

You need a 4920 xbox to use the splinter cell hack. Just warning you so you dont get disapointed

No, you don't - you can mod any Xboxes with the new exploit (UXE) - even new v1.6 ones. The gamesave hack works on any 'box.
