There was this type of error once with the Papa John's pizza website, where you could order a pizza for $1.50 - we did it and they actually honored it (ended up costing $4 with extra topings.)

Digital Age... they can simply say they were out of the item. In the shop though, they have to honor it, no? While it would be nice to get cheap stuff, it's simply too easy for a rouge asshole to fuck an entire company. So, I don't think that old law should apply.

Nice find though, Tonk.

If I'd have known about this I would have been out as early as possible to every store that carries this TV and does price matching.

And to kick them in the teeth, they have to beat the price by 10% of the difference, of which is so great you get it for free.

Don't give the spambots any ideas... pretty soon the spambots will all be saying "I am not a spambot." Soon after that, they'll start claiming that they have emotions.

Except most of them will have terms and conditions that will mean they can get out of it, for example best buy state "Offers that include financing, bundling of items, free items, pricing errors and mail-in offers"

Yep I got my email this morning stating that they cancelled my order due to a pricing error. Oh well. Image

Same here.

But the thing is.

And hear me out.

I'm a developer/contractor - when I bid a job, and say I make a blatant pricing mistake. Do you think the homeowner is gonna pay it?

I made one mistake like that with a cabinet set - quoted something and I was way off...

I had to eat the cost.

Not saying that they should honor it, but I think this was a stunt for advertisement.
