10 PRINT "Hello Everyone...";:GO TO 10

Been lurking for a few days, reading some of the excellent posts - especially in the conservation/restoration forum, and thought I'd
better pop my head round the door, and say "Hi!"
I don't play many games, instead preferring the habit of restoration, and repairing - it gives me a sense of pleasure to take something
that is essentially broken, and carefully restore it to its former glory, and breathe some life into it. Not saying Im all that good at it,
but I haven't fried anything (or me) yet Image
I love tinkering with all reto/vintage machines, but especially 8-bit computers from the 1980s (my teenage years), recent fixes include
a 1983 C64, BBC Micro B, and my current favorite (albeit from the 16-bit era), an Atari 1040STe. Still got a little backlog of repairs,
just trying to find some time - Philips Videopac 7000 (Magnavox Odyssey 2), SNES (black screen - possibly not the connector), and
a Prinztronic Videosport 800 (Colour!) from 1978 just needing a good clean.

Anyway, stop waffling now....

Have a nice day

Hahaha, good old deadbeef! Welcome to the party! :congratulatory:
I feel the same way in regards to restoring old consoles. It sure does give me a kick.
I've been meaning to try out some games, but I never find the time... always something else to fix!
Looks like you're at least one generation behind me, and there's nothing wrong with liking the fourth generation of gaming! :loyal:
It's my personal favourite!

Welcome!

Maybe I'll ship you my Timex 2068 and my ZX 48K for a free fix?

Love my 48K Speccy - first "real" computer I ever owned. Still got one, but never
any time to play (not with 3-year old twins!). I had to look up the Timex one!
Whats wrong with them...?
