I saw an article about this on Destructoid just now. It's a new documentary coming out pretty soon.

Anyway, the documentary looks cool, thinking of donating the $15 for the download.
Maybe they were playing Idolmaster :congratulatory:

100 yen? I go to a much better indie arcade where classics from the 80's and 90's are 30 yen to 50 yen a game. And once you've finished on them you can play some of the latest games out there plus all those lovely 2D shooters.

For those on the fence, these guys did their homework. Quite a lo of interviews.

Yeah, well -- someone of us live where the arcade's rent is more than 5000 yen a month.

I only hope the arcades still exist by the time I get to visit Japan! Looks like a great show.

Whoa, 5000 yen? That's almost like 60 bucks a month. You sure you didn't mean to add a few zeros to that total? Because for rent like that, I'd totally open up an arcade.

I was being sarcastic. But land/rent prices in Tokyo compared to the rest of the country are ridiculous, nonetheless.
