I will give you this advice.
Ignore advice from most people. They will be either set in their ways or resentful at their lot in life.
You never get anywhere by playing it safe. You are at an age that mistakes are easily forgiven, if not encouraged. Once you hit
18 you are required to pull your own weight, no one will give a literal fuck anymore.
1. Find and ask people to be your mentors.
2. Work hard on your own dream with goals and timelines. If you really want to do what you want, you will have no one to blame for failure but yourself.
3. Wasting time on leisure. Most people waste all their time talking about dreams, or watching TV / petty entertainment.

I can go more in depth, but the root of all things is control of your mind and your time.
You have seven years until most sympathy and assistance vanishes. Make the most of it.
