SR2 on the DC sucked too.

Nah, VF3TB was kinda bad, but SR2 was kick-ass cool, a perfect arcade port if you ask me.

Too bad they didnt port both Daytona2 versions, maybe they were afraid it would hurt cabinet sales? Who knows...

And since we're talking about Daytona, does the fact that SEGA loss the Nascar licensee means not only they cant make any more daytona games but that they cant port the older ones either? or they can port the old games?

In that case a compilation of all the arcade games for X360 would be a best seller in my opinion:nod:

Not really. It's just they have to co publish it with hasbro or ea(I forgot who has the rights now). That's what they did with daytona on dc, they co published it with hasbro.

I don't know how you can say that unless you either
a). Never played the Arcade version
b). Never played the DC version

Sega Rally 2 was universally panned as a bad conversion with poor framerate and bugs. It was a rush-job made with Windows CE. YUCK!

I see, well, it all depends on how much money hasbro wants, and how much SEGA is willing to give in...

I played the arcade version many times, yet the DC version only a couple of times, but for what I remember it did have some slowdowns and popups, but not that many as to break the experience, like the first saturn daytona did.

Besides crazy taki had some pretty bad slowdowns most of the time, and that didnt ruin the game at all.

And yeah I recall hearing that if they had used the katana libraries the game would've turned to be much better, but hey! it still got a 9 out of 10 at IGN...

Next day is delayed, the new screenshot plugin is garbage, and since I upgraded my PSP, I needed the new one.
