X360 and Partitions

The other day I tried hooking up my external USB2/FW HDD to my 360 in order to enjoy some music. To my surprise however, the 360 only recognized the one of the two partitions (namely the "primary") and not the other one(where I stored my music files). The file system on both partitions is FAT32.
any ideas? how can I report this flaw to MS (and eventually hope for an update)?
