Woo hoo! A big ups to the guys over at Aeon Genesis for completely wrapping this long project up.
While my family members go ga-ga over hi-def TVs, iPads and various other modern day gadgets on this Black Friday, I on the other hand am overly amped over the release of an obscure Japanese action RPG from 1995! LOL.

Yeah, great news, even though Ys V isn't the best game in series. My wife will be happy since she can't read japanese at all. And i'll finish this game this time (one thing where emulators are a lot better that original games - you can make backup of your saved games easily. Same applies to flash carts vs original carts)

Good to know that people still do this! When I translated FF5 in 1997 with my high school friend, it kind of showed that it really was possible to do crazy things like forcefully translate major RPGs without source code or inside knowledge.
We turned out not to be first, but FF5 seemed to inspire the scene for the most part.

@Myria so how did you translate Final Fanasty 5 at the time with just a MS-Dos or Windows 95 computer? And i'm pretty sure ya used a SNES Game Doctor SF7 backup unit to test it i bet right?
