B/c we don't need Shenmue beach volleyball.

EDIT: Lemme 'splain this way. I would akin this to the many "Artist X Featuring Singer Y" that is now commonplace in the overground music world (or at least is the handful of times I turn my head in the gym and see MTV). Usually I hate both artists on their own, but in the case where it's one I think is half decent, the song kinda sucks. While I won't shit Ninja Gaiden as a franchise (the first one held my interest for a bit) I can't really credit the guy as a force to be reckoned with. Remove the jiggle from DoA, and he's just another game maker.

Not necessarily. It depends on if Sega has 100% the rights (Which, honestly, they probably do). Plus, if Suzuki could get the funds to do it, or most of them, on his own, and there would be little to no harm to Sega (plus money if it does well), then if anything, we have a larger chance Image

We can always hope Borman. I believe Sega owns the rights but like you said maybe when Suzuki gets his own company going maybe Sega will let him develop the game.

Also reading the article it doesn't say that hes left for good?

He's spearheaded an arcade racing title. Is he just really off in his own world?
SJ: Yeah. He's kind of his own man right now. Every now and again, he'll come up with an idea, and I don't think anything has come out of that yet, but we're still working with him. He's not an employee anymore, but...

There ya go

Kotaku is a piece of crap when they try writing, its hard to butcher a straight interview (though it could be done I guess)
