The only PAL golden OOT carts are australian ones, where they are almost as common as the grey ones in europe.

The NES Zelda's actually started out gray and were then made in Gold later after selling some huge amount of copies. OoT had a limited edition run which had a shiney box and gold cartridge, but more importanly the 1.0 revision which had some glitches later revisions didn't. I don't think any version of 1.0 is all that rare (usa, pal, japan). They made alot of them and N64 isn't exactly old or in demand.

Grey cart before gold one for nes zelda's ? i'm very surprise , that the first one i heard that , the grey us cart comes with classic series and in europe only release on France but in player choice too so after the first release .
Do you have a picture of a grey cart without the nes-zl-usa-1???

Same demand for the OOT - EUR gold if really exist , it can't be so difficult to have a picture showing a different version of the AUS one  .
For me only the AUS exist , maybe nintendo of europe take some copie of the AUS ones to make a small special offer or something like that but i don't thinks they release a real european version.

Oh for the love of all things shiny! Image

OK: NES Legend of Zelda and Adventures of Link carts were first released in GOLD. 99% of homes had GOLD cartridges.

Later, they were re-released as a form of 'Best Seller' cartridge that was GREY (or GRAY if you're American).

I repeat: The first release cartridges were GOLD, the later release was GREY.

The Grey ones are far, far rarer than the Gold carts; however due to many believing that the Gold carts are rarer, the eBay value of a Gold cart is often greater than that of a rarer grey cart.

Are you sure? I remember seeing FAR more Grey carts at my local GameStop (back when they still sold NES carts) than Gold...
