I have the option to buy a Zephyr XDK with sidecar and PSU from someone outside this forum. He wants $400 + shipping. I was just wondering what these are going for now and if it's a decent price. I've always wanted a 360 XDK and this seems like a good option, but just wanted to get a second opinion. Thanks!

I certainly wouldn't suggest doing this if you care about the future resale value of your kit.

And I certainly wouldn't ever buy an XDK that had been opened. Waaaay too many China kits and RRoD refurbs out there to trust an opened system.

Bu u will see on mainboard if kit was opened or not.

I mean rrod... u will see soldering stuff on maiboard, or oryginal glue on gpu/cpu. And many other things.

Remove the efuse? I thought that wasn't much of an issue now that nothing can connect to Pnet anyway...

Something can still call to blow the fuse, just a safety precaution.

Aside from that rash of China kits which got bricked (and those were systems that had already been marked as destroyed anyway), the only time kits were bricked by software in any large number was when that idiot released a fake recovery a few years back and more idiots blindly downloaded and ran it on their kits.

So long as you're not running software of unknown origin, you should be fine.
