Here's the full info from the assembly guide thread:
Circles 1 & 2 are three switches mounted to the board. These three switches are labelled 'Normal <> Flash Write' and are all in the 'Normal' position on my board. (Never tried to flip these without knowing exactly what they do)
Circle 3 is a set of 4 DIP switches. These are labelled as follows:
1: SYSCONPWR On= HI, *Off= Normal
2: CP_ForceOn On= Enable, *Off= Disable
3: P23
4: P24
(*= Default) Switches 3 and 4 don't sound like they do anything, not sure. Setting 1 and 2 ON seems to affect how the system shuts down. The fan stays on all the time, and you can't completely shut it off. Not sure what the purpose of that is...
Circle 4 on the image is part number for the main board. Mine says:
TMU-002
1-866-574-11
Can anyone with an H1500 confirm if the motherboard is the same part #? I'm curious if the only difference is the firmware, or if the board it actually different in some way...
Heh, which one? There's at least 7 on the L1500, and probably twice that on the T1000...

What happens if you switch the DIP switch?

Would be great if we all talked the same language, but variety is the spice of the world.
You know how we feel about Japanese language too, right ? Yes it's difficult ! -_-;
