Joylabs (germany) wanted to release this "Nazi Shooter" in 2005.

They got code for the game Y-Project which they stopped working on to do "Das Reich 2005" :

"Das Reich 2005" should have been 1st announced on E3 2003.

It was already worked on but then got canceled.

Joylab used its own, modified version of the "CodeCreatures Engine" by Phenomedia (Codecult) :

Question is, does anyone even know/remember JoyLabs or does anyone know if anything else entered the public, except for these 3 graphics ?

A prototype was made for presentation at publishers (joylabs never found a publisher for that title) with a single level which was placed in a never built but planned (in reality) Nazi-building. It seems like the people at joylabs werent totally sure what kind of game they wanted to do because that prototype could be switched from a classic fps to a more action-adventure like gameplay. Around late 2004/early 2005 development was stopped, Joylabs became a part of another small German gaming-related company called Interactive Media Consulting (they dont develop games). The prototype or anything else from Das Reich 2005 never found its way to the public since then.

I'm wondering what they thought how to sell that game in Germany because of the German laws regarding to the prohibition about using swastika and other nazi-related stuff.

I did contact Thomas Schaefer via xing.com.

He said "it is still existing".

So I asked for "it", to do videos and/or some testing...hes not answering anymore. Maybe hes just busy. Who knows. I tried.
